Bang my head on the stone wall
Smarting pain shoots
In my throbbing beaten head
Swimming pictures floating
Not the first time
And not the last to happen
Laughing crazily at the pain
The internal bleeding
For a little while is eased
Coming back full blown
With the greatest of ease
Sharp as the blade of a knife
Straight through the heart
Gleeful at the pain it brings so great
That it brings tears to my eyes
Eyes rimmed in red
Trailing down my cheeks
Oh I feel so hollow
Feel nothing but intense pain
Don't remember any other way
Bang my head against that same wall
Until I pass out into blackness
Weak and bleeding I stumble
Fall down on the cold wood floor
Thumping my head once more
Smack onto the floor
That isn't heard when I'm down
