Knock before climbing in.
First off I found the title of this episode in a word weird. Is this some reference to Lola's age or something even though Josef thought she was around five hundred. So she was really robbing the cradle since he's one hundred years younger. That was so amusing when Josef came into Mick's I guess bedroom for lack of a better word to wake him up to ask a favor.
It made me wonder about what vampires do when they have someone over. Do they do sleepovers? Does he or she bring over their freezer or maybe Mick has an extra one lying around in case he has a guest over? I wonder if Mick has a regular bedroom around somewhere after all they did show him and Coraline in a bed but of course that was before she turned him and at that point the marriage was so over.
So next week's episode implies that she might not be as dead as everyone thought. That makes sense since we never actually saw her die. Sure he set her on fire and she was standing at the window but that doesn't mean she didn't get out and managed to save herself before burning up. Dru and Darla survived Angel setting them on fire so there's no reason she couldn't have survived too and who knows how old she is. I would imagine someone older would be able to survive getting set on fire if they are able to put themselves out fast enough and I'm thinking she's at least around Josef's age but I'm just guessing and could totally be wrong.
Josh was being a bit of an ass but I think it mostly had to do with the fact that she was at the club with Mick. Hello she's a reporter so of course part of that is snooping around to get the story which is what she's doing and once again a case just drew the two together. It's like she goes with the human angle and Mick is usually working on the vampire angle and they end up meeting at the morgue only to discover their cases are tied together. Ok are vampires the only ones working in the morgue or what? How come we never see the actual coroner?
I did enjoy seeing a shirtless Mick which is always a treat during that very amusing scene at the start of the episode. I wonder if we'll ever see Josef's freezer? It doesn't seem very comfy and there really doesn't appear to be room for two. I guess the other person could lay on top of him but I'm not sure how well that would work for a vampire that wants to sleep. Whoa did an episode actually go by without Beth saying vampire? I don't think she said it once during this one.
Getting high on vampire blood looks like fun. It would be pretty freaky to have my reflection start talking to me. That just amused me and maybe I'm the only one that was entertained by that. Too bad Mick didn't take his shirt off while they were in the shower. I'd like to see all of Mick's place because I'm curious about whether he has a bed or not. Where was Beth going to go exactly? I wouldn't think she'd just jump into the freezer with him? She's never gone upstairs in his place so was it just the snoop in her along with the obvious that made her wander upstairs but no our Mick was a perfect gentleman.
