I am black and blue all over
Speckled with green and yellow
Puffed up and swollen
Ice pack upon my head
Bags under my blurry eyes
Aching pain vibrating in my head
No more drinks for me
Night slowly approaches
Hands reach for just one drink
A glass in each hand
Smash them to the ground
Grab and bottle and gulp it down
Just this one last time
For old times sake
I'll quit after this I promise
No more after this
Cross my heart and hope to die
If I lie stick a knife in my heart
The fists flew once again
Bruised and bleeding once more
Drown my pain in the bottle
Eases and numbs it for a while
Sinking further into oblivion
Drink my troubles away
Here with my friend
Never judges me won't let me down
