"Bells, we're up to bat."
"Dad what are you talking about?"
Charlie gestured for Bella to come sit by him on the couch.
"Do you really want to go through with this? You can always wait."
Bella looked down at her hand at the engagement ring that winked at her.
"I'm sure Dad. I love Edward."
"I know but there's no rush."
Bella was skittish about getting married but she knew that she belonged with Edward.
"Dad I want you to walk me down the aisle. You like Edward right?"
"He's all right. I just want you to be happy."
Bella hugged Charlie and got up to make some dinner.
