Zedd is still AWOL so they plan to release the prisoners. Why do the women and children always get screwed over? Okay Chase was captive but I doubt they were experimenting on him with dark magic. Lights out to the place so they sneak in with their torches to release the poor folks that survived and hello it looks like there are some D'Harans that aren't so happy about Darken Rahl since there's a plan to kill him which is nice. They escape and of course Emma wants to kiss her husband who she thought she'd never see again but oh crap he keels over. Instead of confessing him she zapped him and if he isn't taken care of he's going to end up dead so things aren't looking so good for him.

The dude that wants his nephew to kill Rahl since Rahl trusts the guy since they're sort of friends well as much as a dude like Rahl could have friends goes after the prisoners. Rahl needs to go over there which is why he wants the prisoners back not that he wants the experiments to continue. Well Emma you are brave and so is your daughter but sweetie when you're done with this you really should freshen up a little bit because you are all smudged. I guess they don't let the gals freshen up and make themselves look all pretty. Okay on second thought maybe homely is the way to go when you're a prisoner.

Kahlan goes with Emma and her daughter so she can confess Giller. It sounds like a solid plan but there are a few snags. First the nephew gets killed by the dude that Kahlan confessed before the guy told Richard that he was on their side. Next they go to the phallic building and oops the dude can't be confessed because he has a potion that prevents it. This sounds good because this could be the answer to Richard and Kahlan's prayers. I'm sure they're sick of cold showers but anyhoo Kahlan gets strapped in by Giller who is thrilled to have a live Confessor to experiment on so maybe this wasn't such a good idea. Watch the hair you bozo.

Rahl travels there by jumping into a pentagram along with an incantation that turns him into blue smoke so it's a type of teleportation thing going on. The guy goes to Richard to tell him about Kahlan getting captured so Richard goes back because there's no way in hell he's going to use the Dragon's Fire to blow up the building when Kahlan's inside and oh yeah Emma too and her daughter whose name I don't know. He comes face to face with Daddy er I mean Rahl and they have a sword fight which I thought odd because Rahl's a wizard. Richard wasn't doing too badly and he had him down on the floor but oops he's behind Richard with his sword.

Kahlan was not having a good time especially when Giller started poking those needles into the holes in the straps holding her down. It looked pretty damn painful. I guess you really need to get pissed off good and proper to invoke the Con Dar. So she got all blood eyed and pissed and hello she killed Giller. That doesn't seem so good but hey I don't blame her for doing that because I'd be pissed too if some ass was using me as a pincushion. It was pretty cool because she was able to confess all of the survivors and hello Rahl you're a coward running away not once but twice. Richard stops to check to see if Kahlan's okay so he doesn't get to Rahl in time.

Chase and his family are reunited so I guess they need to find a home. Kahlan found one vial of the potion which they give to Chase. That was just sad that the chance for them to be together gets taken away but you can't blame Emma. Okay you can blame her but it really isn't her fault. I just hope she goes home and sees how scary she looks and realizes how lucky she is that she didn't scare Chase away. Zedd would have come in handy but at least they got loose more or less intact. So the hair is free again and Emma should go and wash her hair since it wasn't looking too good. She could certainly use a bath. I don't even want to think about the smell.
