Hey Dean was on and tonight some of the D'Harans who are supposed to be the bad guys didn't seem so bad. That cylinder was really odd but I guess it was like a dark magic grenade since I guess you twist it and when it lines up squealing or something happens and everyone within a league whatever that means is shit out of luck.
Okay I just looked and that would be three miles so that's quite a few people. A kid found it but they didn't show what happened to the people. Am I weird for kind of wanting to see what happens. They were all just lying there when Kahlan and Richard found them. Once again Zedd was AWOL and he isn't getting his rabbit stew. Where did there horses go? Does Zedd have them? See my brain works in strange and mysterious ways.
At the village was a note warning people that the same would happen if they were allied with Richard and Kahlan. Well that's pretty damn harsh but this is Darken Rahl the really and I mean really bad guy although he so far anyway hasn't been quite as evil as he is in the book. Some men come but since Richard is Mr Woods he knows that it wasn't the ones behind the attack with the magical thingie which turns out to be a Whisperer. That's ironic since it appears to have trapped souls inside who scream or whatever which kills people. So I'm guessing really loud which makes me think of that really loud man that does those god awful commercials. Yes Billy I'm talking about you but thankfully I was spared that horror tonight.
So they meet some of the rebels who are supposedly the good guys but things get very blurry because that one dude I think his name might be Garreth or something but from henceforth I'm calling him Stupid Head was too black and white about things. Kahlan manages to confess one of the D'Harans and hello Dean or rather Carver. He didn't seem very evil since he was originally a cook that was forced into the army so it wasn't exactly dripping with evil. The others didn't like having him around so Stupid Head eventually ends up killing him and he had no problem going after a village of civilians who just happen to be D'Harans. Talk about stupid. See why I call him Stupid Head. I find it fitting.
Richard wants to get one of those Whisperers because that would be a great way to take out a bunch of soldiers. He gets some lessons from Carver so he can pose as him because Carver just doesn't think he can pull it off. I'm thinking he's low man in the ranks of soldiers and his nickname was Mouse so that says it all. See not very evil just a guy forced into something that he really didn't want to do. So I felt bad for the poor guy when he died because the other guy was just too blind to see anything but black and white. A D'Haran equals death in his mind which is stupid hence me calling him stupid.
Richard goes and hello to the vest porn. Okay the porn has tipped over into this show but come on I'm not the only one that enjoyed that. He nearly ends up executed since they're supposed to fight to the death. He ends up fighting a few guys and kicks their asses and impresses the guy in charge who is kind of cute and doesn't seem all that evil either. He's just the follow the orders of his superior type without actually doing any questioning which can be a bad thing. He ends up going to a village called Grayson where his family is. He kind of breaks the rules to bring his family food which he isn't supposed to do because you can't go see your family unless you're on leave. Somehow I don't think Darken Rahl gives leave all that often.
It turns out that he has the last chicken which I found upsetting and I'm sure Zedd wouldn't be thrilled about it either. He does the thing which freaks out one of his kids. The poor little thing saw some people murdered so the kid's a bit jumpy. You see that there are innocents on both sides which Richard might not have thought about before because you're so focused on bringing down the bad guy. He whittles a magic whistle for the kid which was really sweet. Oh shut up I just got a little misty not full on crying so let's move on from that. He asks Richard not to say anything and they go back.
Richard helps the prisoner escape who happens to be Stupid Head's brother. Okay I can't think of his name so I'll call him Stupid Two. He goes back in disguise while Richard hangs around waiting for a chance for him to slip away and he brings booze. Unfortunately the pissed off guy does some digging around and finds a guy that knew Carver and oops he mentions the yellow hair. Couldn't he have died his hair? Well it was worth a shot so I thought he could have mentioned that but he bluffed and the dude in charge wasn't sure. Of course he's wondering especially with Richard knowing his secret so things aren't looking too good for Richard with that guy out for his blood. Hello why don't you practice your fighting skills so you don't have to have another guy holding Richard while you pound on him. Talk about lame.
Kahlan comes to the rescue after Stupid Head kills poor Carver who just asked the guy what he wanted to eat. She pretends to be Carver's wife Marus or however you spell it since it could be Mares although that sounds more like a horse. She slaps him so should we add slap porn to the list? Also she wanted to be the one to brand him since all of the D'Harans have a brand on their shoulder so there was shoulder porn. Take note Jensen and Jared that showing your skin is a good thing especially for all those fangirls and I would imagine fanboys out there.
They make a break for it and smartly get on a couple of horses to stop the Brothers Stupid from killing the entire village of Grayson which is just a bunch of innocents. Real nice and not very good guy behavior if you ask me. There's a fight and shortly after what's his face and his men turn up. Stupid Head tries to get them to leave telling them that he won't destroy the village. Kahlan throws a knife at him and down the Whisperer goes so Richard is running to it while others are trying to get the hell out of there before the screaming starts. I'm thinking screaming. Richard finds it and shuts it off.
But now he's face to face with the guy what's his face oh yes I'll call him Chicken Guy so they end up fighting and Richard could have killed him when he disarmed him but he didn't. He let the guy go and just told him to go back to his family. I think he realized that things aren't just black and white or good and evil. Just because you're a D'Haran doesn't mean you're evil like Darken Rahl or maybe it's just me but I think he realized that. Kahlan of course wonders why he let the guy go since he could come back and try to kill him but I'm thinking he might not. Who knows he might figure out that he's really on the wrong side. They torch the Whisperers because no one should have that kind of power.
