Moonlight Dwelling

I don't know what I'm doing
Will it all just fall into place
Or end up the same as before
Another failure lying at my feet
With the countless others
Don't know if I want to try
When the odds are against me
So why even bother anymore
Just to fail once again
Nothing will ever change
This is just too damn much
I can't bear any more failure
Don't care about anything
It's not worth it in the end
Not meant to be happy
Deluded myself all along
That it was just ahead
Around the next corner
All that I see is darkness
Filling me up inside
The loneliness is killing me
Bringing me down even lower
Than it has ever before
Not meant to happen this way
Wanted more for myself
But nothing has turned out right
Don't know where to go from here
