Entry One

Dear Diary

I got some witch books that I hope help me out. I want to find a spell that will give me courage to talk to #10. He's so cute and what a soccer player. I just love watching him play. I just need to get up the courage to talk to him.

I'll know tomorrow if it works. I just need to say this spell before I go see him. I just need to sneak out without my pesky little sister butting into my business. She is such a pain. What did I do to get stuck with her?

Entry Two

Dear Diary

I totally bombed with #10 but something better happened. I was upset but I'm being taught how to be a witch a real witch. I even cast some spells. It was cool to fly a broom. It almost feels like it was all a dream. Who knew that wandering would take me to a part of town I'd never been to landing me in a real magic shop.

I even have real witch stuff. The dream spinner is cool because it spits out a uniform and then a wandular which is a magic wand and next a broom for flying. The first time didn't count because I didn't know what would happen when I pushed the buttons which play a melody.

Entry Three

Dear Diary

I just love my uniform. I was just practicing in front of the mirror and Patina showed up all grumpy. She's always like that. Well she said I can't tell anyone so I was just having a little fun. It's funny that Patina has to fly around in a dustpan. It must suck being a green blob. I hope I never get turned into one.

My little sister is such a pain in the butt. Like I want her to introduce me to her little playmates. She is always around. It's impossible to get any privacy around here. It's gonna be tricky keeping this secret.

Yikes I have to run Patina's shop. I hate getting up early. I barely make it to school in the morning. Lorelei is more reasonable but this is gonna be hard. Maybe I'll get more spell drops when I get there. It'll be another chance to fly my broom. That is so cool.

Entry Four

Dear Diary

I wanted to trade places with Reanne and vice versa so I cast some spells. It worked too but it didn't turn out like I'd hope. Reanne's Mom is kinda freaky. She has a room like a princess but I guess my home is best for me.

I found out that I'm only good at being me. That steak was so good. I'm glad Reanne's not a meat eater because that steak sure hit the spot. I don't get how someone could choose to not eat meat but in this case it worked in my favor. So I'm back at home where I belong even with my brat face sister.

Entry Five

Dear Diary

I am so sick of my little sister. I am never using the words under and where again. She always makes me feel so dumb. Tricky way with words. I should try to trip her up and make her feel dumb. The new girl did the same thing but I didn't fall for it twice when that stupid Todd tried it. I put him in his place. He'll think twice before trying that again.

I followed Mirabelle and ended up spending the afternoon with her. My spell didn't turn out right so instead of becoming a butterfly I was in a costume but I was the size of one. It was another bumpy landing but it changed me back to regular size. I like her and her Dad's really nice.

I told Reanne what happened so she's gonna give her a chance. I think they could be friends. She has to taste those chocolate doodles. Those are so great. I'd put them up there with steak. It would be cool for the three of us to be friends.

Entry Six

Dear Diary

I don't know what to do. I can't keep this secret much longer. Reanne almost called me a witch. I have to talk to Patina about this. I don't think they bought me blaming the second Dad that blew up on our imaginations. I had no idea her real Dad would show up.

I just wanted to do something nice because I knew she wanted her there. This secret is getting harder to keep. I can't keep coming up with lame reasons to explain away something strange. Oh why do my friends have to be smart? I don't want to get turned into a green blob.

Entry Seven

Dear Diary

The strangest thing happened and I'm still in awe. I went to this place called The Rusty Broom where my life changed forever. I walked in and saw this woman who was a witch. I had no idea that saying it out loud would turn her into a green blob. How was I supposed to know? Now I know and what's cool is that now I'm a witchling.

I need to become a witch so I can turn her back. I just don't like keeping this from Reanne and Mirabelle. I just don't know how long I can keep this secret. They keep asking me questions.

Entry Eight

Dear Diary

The uniform is so coll that I get to wear. When I become a full fledged witch I'll get a fairy like Lorelei. The uniform is in my favorite color and it is so cool. I even have a magic wand that's called a wandular.

I think I'll take the girls to The Rusty Broom. I just have to tell them or I'm gonna bust. Maybe they could become witchlings too. That would be so cool and so much more fun than doing it alone. I can't wait until I learn how to fly a broom.

Entry Nine

Dear Diary

This is so cool. I'm just glad that I didn't turn into a green blob when Reanne called me a witch. That was pretty scary. Since I'm still in training the W word said out loud didn't turn me. That wouldn't have been any fun since Patina is pretty grouchy. She didn't seem that nice before but it was all so quick. I'm just glad that she didn't make my friends disappear.

So all three of us are now witchlings. This is so great. That was awesome to hear Reanne and Mirabelle say I'm so cool which never gets old. We'll be the coolest witchlings in the world. Reanne couldn't get her uniform on right away but I did. I can't wait until my spells work right.

I got a spell to work just not how I wanted it to. I made this suit of armor move but it ended up chasing us around. Since Patina's a blob we'll be running the shop. We need to sell stuff we make so we can get more spell drops.

Entry Ten

Dear Diary

It took a lot of work but the place looks great. It's way better than The Rusty Broom and it has a new name. So I'm not too good at making stuff. It sucks that Reanne and Mirabelle can. You just can't rush greatness.

Patina of course totally flipped out but she can't complain too much since we'll be running the shop since she's a green blob. She's so cranky that she'd scare off all the customers which would mean no more spell drops and she'd stay a green blob.

Entry Eleven

Dear Diary

That was strange because everything worked out in the end. Of all people to come into the magic shop Todd was the last person I wanted to see. He bought my dog pin. It must have looked enough like a dog since Todd got to keep his dog. The pin gave him the courage to ask his parents for the dog.

I'm getting better at that word voodoo stuff that Caitlyn does so well. I got Todd with the loser one. It's kinda strange that I ended up helping him but I'll admit that I'm glad I did. It's like I saw a different side of him. The bummer is that I'm all out of spell drops because it took me three times to get a spell to work. It's still a bit tricky for me with the wording.

Entry Twelve

Dear Diary

What a day it's been. Belinda was lying all over the place and Mirabelle totally lost it when she found out what a bunch of lies she was totally buying into. I thought steam would come out of her ears 'cause she was so mad. Hopefully Belinda has learned her lesson. It's just not nice to lie although I am totally cute which isn't a lie.

It turns out that Belinda is a pretty good writer. She made me a dog which I totally didn't get but that got cleared up. Rorie was cursed by a witch so she's really a princess waiting to have herself changed back. I can't wait to find out what happens next. I hope Rorie gets changed back soon.

Entry Thirteen

Dear Diary

I just hate it when I can't come up with a comeback. My sister can be such a kiss-up. So I suck at subtraction but it came in handy. She can drive me nuts but I felt for the poor kid so I'm glad I was able to help her. At least I got a lot of practice on my broom so I fly better now which was the only good thing to happen.

Darn I was so excited about getting a fairy but I messed up. So I didn't pass and now I feel like a big dope. I should have been practicing instead of trailing Caitlyn all day. I just thought the test was so easy but I made a steak instead of that thing they made up and I didn't even get to eat it. They should have passed me because it looked so delicious and it didn't disappear. Now what am I gonna do if I can't even pass the first stupid test.

Entry Fourteen

Dear Diary

Woohoo I got a fairy of my own now. Her name is Dodo. I am not klutzy. That was a close call. We went all over the Lunaverse and it was in Drona's backyard. I can't believe that Conya blabbed to everyone in the Lunaverse about me. At least I got some free food out of it and those noodles were pretty good.

That flower was crazy. It just took off and stuck its tongue out at me. The Lunaverse is a strange place but they have some awesome food. Next time we go there I want to look around in those shops. They must have some really cool things. I wonder if my autograph could get me more free stuff. That noodle shop was expensive and Patina's well not free with the spell drops. But she is counting on me to change her back so maybe we could talk her into taking us again.

Entry Fifteen

Dear Diary

This is just great I finally get a fairy and she's defective. We made a feast to celebrate passing the test and my stupid fairy eats my steak. I thought no one like steak as much as me. That was a close call with Caitlyn since all she saw was a glass ball that I was talking to. I don't know who is annoying me more right now Caitlyn or Dodo.

I had Dodo practice getting into her bubble and she can't even do that right. She would leave some part of her visible like her hair or her face. I wonder if there is a return policy on fairies that just aren't working. Why am I the one with the defective fairy? Maybe after being away from her all day tomorrow will help the both of us. Maybe she'll smarten up if that's possible.

Entry Sixteen

Dear Diary

I feel so bad about how I treated Dodo. I didn't realize that I had to be like a mom to her. I was so mean and said such horrible things to her. I'm the one that knows more so I have to take care of her. I'll just need to make sure I keep an eye on her. She can't be left alone for a minute.

That was so weird how the Perfect Harmony to find Dodo created a potato. Well the spell worked in a strange sort of way. It led us to Todd who took the potato and gave me a chocolate bar. I traded the little kid who wanted chocolate for a sucker which Caitlyn took. We found Dodo in my room doing my math homework. So we're friends now. I'm just so glad and relieved that she's safe because I was so worried.

Entry Seventeen

Dear Diary

Whew that was a close one. It didn't help that Patina was gone but things worked out. I'm tempted to turn that Josie into a toad. She always wants to cause trouble. Boy that Conya is not only a blabbermouth she won't even do a lousy favor without charging and she didn't even stay. It's not that easy to turn a person into an old lady.

Miss Cooper was a big help. I wonder how she knew there was no old lady. She even bought something. How cool that I sold all my merchandise. I'll really gotten better at making stuff so I was right when I said that you can't rush great art. So everything worked out so we can work at the shop so our days of being witchlings aren't over.

Entry Eighteen

Dear Diary

Boys can be so dumb. David is such a poop head. Of course I like flowers. They are beautiful and Amanda's like an expert on them. She does something nice and that dummy ruins them so instead of apologizing he makes her cry. I don't get why boys can be so stupid.

What a relief no more bed wetting from Dodo. I absolutely refuse to let her sleep with me until she gets over that which she now understands. I still cringe when I think about that. She's fine in her little bubble. She is good at math so she does that homework for me which is great since I hate math.

Entry Nineteen

Dear Diary

Wow that was some storm. We were able to save the flowers with Perfect Harmony. Those little umbrellas were really cute. Now Amanda can continue taking care of the flowers. She has quite a green thumb. I can't believe David bought one of Dodo's weird little charms. Mine are much better but a sale is a sale.

So David did feel bad about what he said. Well he totally should since it was pretty mean. My Mom's never tried to get me to do anything except get up early which I'll always hate. I'll always like sleeping late and having breakfast in bed. They should change the time school starts so I can sleep in.

I didn't know you could trade clothes for spell drops. Maybe I could go in Caityln's closet to trade them in. So she's friends with that kid Evan. He really looks up to his big brother. That's so different from me and Caitlyn. She just mocks me and makes me feel dumb. She should look up to me after all I'm pretty awesome being a witchling and all.

I can't believe he thinks my panda bear charm is a soccer ball. Maybe he needs some glasses. It wasn't easy but we managed to help them out. I just love watching soccer especially when Robbie plays. He is just so cute. So with a little witchling help we helped Charlie play so little Evan's heart wasn't broken. That was a close call when Evan saw me in my witchling wear. I'm just glad I was able to cover. So alls well that ends well.

Entry Twenty-One

Dear Diary

I'm just glad that's over and done with. We passed the witch test thanks to the Queen of the Lunaverse. It was a strange one and they totally tricked us. It was like a nightmare that was real. I'm just glad that we were able to bring Parsley and Rosemary together it was such a sad story but we gave it a happy ending.

Boy I had no idea Miss Shannon had bad dreams too and she's so smart. I can't stress out over this every time I take a test. So maybe if I don't think about the math test I'll do better. It's not like I'll need any of that junk in life anyway. I refuse to have any more nightmares about failing tests since I'd rather be dreaming about steak. Ah I'm so hungry.

Twenty-Two

Dear Diary

Man boys can be so dumb. I've always thought it would be so cool to be tall. I'd be able to reach the tall shelves in the kitchen. I'd be able to make all the baskets and I'd get to beat up on the dumb mean boys. Gia made me realize that it's not all it's cracked up to be. That wouldn't be good to have a favorite piece of clothing only to have it be too small next time I wanted to wear it.

That spell didn't turn out like I thought. Instead of turning the SOS Trio funny we got a bunch of frogs. I don't think there's enough magic in the Lunaverse to make that happen. It would take a miracle for that. Some things never change no matter how much you want it to.

Entry Twenty-Three

Dear Diary

I kinda feel bad for Caitlyn. She totally loved Squishy. I tried to make her one but it didn't come out that great. She can drive me nuts but I hate to see her cry. Yeah right like Caitlyn would ever make a better witchling than me. That'll never happen and she has no idea that witchlings even exist.

I totally saved Patina's butt. She could at least be a little more grateful. I did miss my spelling test after all. Dodo can't spell at all. She just doodled all over the paper. I'm really bad at math but I'm not that bad at spelling. I wonder if I can get Miss Cooper to let me retake the test. I was supposed to be sick after all so I shouldn't have had to take the test in the first place.

Entry Twenty-Four

Dear Diary

What was I thinking when I went fishing with my Dad? It's just that Bo was so cute. I was hoping that for once I could tell the boy I liked that I liked him. I even fished and it was all for nothing. He has a girlfriend. Why me?

I will never fish again. It's totally gross. They smell bad and they're slimy too. I was so close too in telling him that I liked him. Maybe that will make it easier. I just have to make sure the boy doesn't have a girlfriend first. So the camping trip was a total bust.

Entry Twenty-Five

Dear Diary

I guess we were wrong about Justin. It turns out that he's a nice kid. He was just teased 'cause he plays the trumpet. That is so stupid. Kids can be like that at times. I'm glad Miss Cooper didn't have to quit. That was a big risk she took. That would be awful to lose our favorite teacher.

I didn't do too good on that test. I guess it could have been worse. At least I got some of the answers right. That's something. I still don't get why math is so important. It's not like I'm gonna need it in life. It's so annoying that my little sister does better at math than I do.

Entry Twenty-Six

Dear Diary

Reanne did a very risky thing. She didn't let us help her out with the bunny. That was such a sad thing that happened to Autumn. Well she loves animals again and Reanne's feeling better. I'm so glad about that. So Her Majesty is the reason why things weren't worse. So Reanne can't do magic for ten whole days. That is such a bummer.

It's so cool that we passed the Flora test without have to do anything. Too bad more tests can't be like that. It was so awesome I totally bluffed Drona and Rona. I didn't know that there were plants that eat people. That was a really close call.

Entry Twenty-Seven

Dear Diary

Oops Reanne wasn't in danger after all. It turns out she was just hanging out with her Uncle Nick. I was so worried when I got that phone call. I even used up all my spell drops. Patina was grouchy but we thought Reanne was in danger. We couldn't just do nothing. Maybe Patina doesn't get it because she doesn't really have friends.

We need more spell drops. Business has been so lousy lately. Don't the people of Port Mystic need magic to help them out? I know my life would be a lot easier if I could get a double of me to fill in for me at school in the morning. I will never like getting up early.

Entry Twenty-Eight

Dear Diary

Patina lost the shop to Conya who sold it to some really nasty witch named Petunia. Even her fairy is totally mean. So Patina and Lorelei have been staying with me which isn't too fun 'cause Patina is so bossy. I'm not the one that lost the shop. She's the one that's supposed to be all responsible. Now the shop has a dumb name and the stuff being sold is creepy. I bought a charm and a bird pooped on me and then I fell over.

We fixed up this bus so now we have a shop on wheels. The best part is getting Patina a new home and now we can get more spell drops. Wow I didn't know that having the magic shop means you get to be Queen of the Lunaverse. That is so cool We need to get our shop back and get rid of that witch.

Entry Twenty-Nine

Dear Diary

Man I thought Patina would move to the bus instead of staying in my room. She's driving me nuts. It's her fault she lost the shop. I'd like my drawer back. I put everything that was in there under the bed. I hope no one looks under there 'cause it's kinda messy. Maybe I can get Dodo to do some cleaning up for me.

I'm just glad we were able to fix things with our classmates. Everyone that went to Petunia's shop had bad things happen to them. I even felt bad for Josie. Patina's a softy since she ended up helping us out. I don't know what's gonna happen when we run out of drops. It's getting close to the end of them and still no customers.

Entry Thirty

Dear Diary

This stinks. We finally get Petunia to let us use the door to the Lunaverse and it was all for nothing. We used up more drops and we couldn't even take the Wandawhirl test. This was one test I was actually excited to take. I don't know what we're gonna do now.

That is so gross and creepy that a rat and a bat are working in Petunia's shop. We so need a vacation. It's gonna be tough trying to get the shop back. Petunia is just too clever. I wish we knew of another witch that could help us. Conya only helps for money. I can't believe she sold the shop to Petunia of all witches. I guess I can 'cause she loves money.

We are the unluckiest witchlings in the world. How did we get into this mess? We can't even get rid of Petunia 'cause we ran out of drops. I'm so pooped I'm gonna go take a nap. I'm so bummed out.

That was such a sad story Mirabelle told us about her parents and the harmonica. I'm glad Dodo found that spell drop so we were able to get to the Lunaverse. The new wand is pretty cool. It's so beautiful. We didn't know that chopping all that wood was part of the test. Now we have spell drops so we can fight stinky old Petunia. That witch has got to go.

Patina keeps eating Caitlyn's snacks so once again I was accused of eating and this time it was yummy cake which I didn't get even a measly crumb of. So to get back at Patina I gave her to Caitlyn. Hopefully she won't be staying her much longer now that we can do magic again.

Entry Thirty-Three

Dear Diary

I just love my new wandawhirl. It is just so beautiful. I was almost too nervous to use it. That Petunia is such a liar. She totally tricked us into giving back her orble. Well we showed her by beating her at a magic duel. She's gone which I'm so thrilled about. I don't want to see her again.

Of all people to find out Caityln did about us. It seemed terrible at first but now I'm not so sure. This could be fun 'cause I can boss her around. She's the newbie and it looks like she'll do whatever I say. I wasn't sure if the W word would do anything so I covered Caitlyn's mouth just in case.

I wouldn't want to turn into a blob. One blob is enough besides who knows what Caitlyn would have done with me if that happened. I saw what she did when she thought Patina was a toy. So now I have to worry about Caitlyn messing things up.

Entry Thirty-Four

Dear Diary

It's just not fair. Caitlyn's merchandise was sold out and I didn't sell a thing. Ok I admit it that my charms weren't too good when I started out but I think I've really improved. It's just not fair. Caitlyn barely gets her dream spinner and she already managed to do the impossible. She sweet talked Conya into giving a major discount and now this.

She cleaned the shop but I don't know how long that will last. Patina's even impressed with her. I think I've come a long way since I first became a witchling. I'm the only one that will be able to change Patina back not the teacher's pet. I just hope Caitlyn puts her dream spinner in a safe place.

Entry Thirty-Five

Dear Diary

It's summer vacation and we're stuck in the shop. There haven't been any customers in a while. I agree we should only come in every other day. I guess it wouldn't be so bad if people were coming into the shop and buying stuff but they aren't.

I knew Caitlyn was gonna do something crazy. She was out of my hair but I couldn't stop worrying about her. I did some crazy stuff too. I guess it's just too tempting to not use magic. She made some ghosts which was cool. It wasn't cool that we had to carry everyone back inside since that wore me out.

Entry Thirty-Six

Dear Diary

I wonder why I was the only one to hear a cat. So of course turning down steak is a sign of something seriously wrong. The statue was bad luck which is why Haley and her family have been having such bad luck. Darn it I never did get my steak. That must be so cool to have all that steak around. I'd eat it for every meal.

Wow we're halfway to becoming full fledged witches. Caitlyn sold out the store. I guess that's good so we don't have to always be at the shop. So there was this thing in it called a grovling. We are supposed to find and trap them. It was so cool to travel in Lumina's carriage.

Entry Thirty-Seven

Dear Diary

That's so cool that only I can turn the computer on along with Reanne and Mirabelle of course. That old man does look like a magical frog and a relative of Patina's. That must really suck to be trapped inside a computer until all of the grovelings are collected. That's pretty sad that he got caught the first time he stole something and turned into that thing and stuck into a computer. So Patina should consider herself lucky that she gets to be free in her green blob state.

Now we need to figure out how to find the cursed items. we got really lucky finding that cat before although I never did get any steak. I hope we have steak tonight for dinner. That would be really great. That was a good idea Reanne had about having people bring their items to us. We can check to see if they're cursed or not. Maybe I should have Caitlyn checked since I had the bad luck to get stuck with her as my little sister. She's such a know it all thinking she knows everything.

Entry Thirty-Eight

Dear Diary

Wow when we got back to the store after passing out fliers there was a bunch of stuff waiting for us. I didn't expect to find that much stuff. We had to look through all it it just in case but there was nothing there only a bunch of junk. So we went around to peoples houses. That raccoon statue was ugly but it wasn't cursed in any way unless you count bad taste as a curse. She thought the raccoon caused her to gain weight. Okay that was a total bust.

That was exhausting because no one had anything cursed. My feet hurt from all that walking around we did today. I guess a lot of people think they're cursed but it turns out that they aren't. The only ones that seemed to be cursed right now are us having to track these things down. It was so easy the first time so I thought it would be for the rest of it. I wonder if we'll ever find another groveling. I guess we can't give up otherwise the old man will be stuck in the computer forever.
