Eww you're going to wear that.
Well it's official I'm hooked to this show. Last night's episode revealed a little bit more about Mick and his birthday at least the month since he'll be 85 in November. I'm thinking Josef doesn't do birthdays since he is 400 and the candles on that cake could set a building on fire. There was a little more about his wedding night and him getting sired by Coraline. I'm guessing she's an oldie too hence the odd name. That just sucks the guy falls in love with a girl and they get married in 52 and it's all surprise honey I'm a bloodsucking vampire and I'm turning you into one too. So he can see his reflection which has to be pretty freaky to look in the mirror and see yourself sporting fangs.
There are still no signs of any demons since Mick seems to be all about helping humans in an attempt to atone but this guy doesn't have centuries of badness to atone for since he hasn't even hit the century mark. A rouge vampire was on the loose so Mick got right on it but Beth was right there with him because like other girls on other shows they just don't listen when the guy tells them to stay in the car and it's a good thing she didn't because he nearly got flamed last week and Mick certainly couldn't remove the stake from his chest when he got staked. I'm guessing he might end up getting impaled on a regular basis since that doesn't kill the vampires in this world.
These vampires are different because for the most part they don't kill humans. Yes humans get killed but usually it is by accident which is where The Cleaner comes in. She's this chick that takes care of the dead bodies. They make an effort to blend in with humans after all there are more humans than vampires and if word got out the vampires could be seriously screwed. Yes Beth has a boyfriend and I'm still blanking on his name even though I'm sure the name has been mentioned but I do know he's a DA so I'm not totally clueless but there is some serious sparkage between her and Mick.
Come on what girl wouldn't be attracted to the hot vampire that rescued her not once but twice? Mick really opens up to her and it turns out that she's the only human that knows his little secret. It's not like he can go around telling people that he's a vampire because they will either think he's crazy and try to lock him up in the loony bin or try to kill him. The first vampire killing happened in this episode when the rogue vampire which had gone feral was cremated. It was very handy that he was in the hospital at the time. I guess he could carry around a lighter for those times when he needs to set someone on fire.
