Moonlight Dwelling

Mothers are insane
Put on this planet
To drive us over the edge
Sometimes to an early grave
Pushing and nagging
Stressing till I burn out
A total hypocrite
When it comes to what is said
Saying this and that
Don't care what you say
Or what you think of me
Who really cares
Certainly neither one of us
It is so damn trivial
Not worth the effort
Walls are built up around me
Shield me from your words
One added worry will ruin me
Drive me to the extreme
Mothers show no support
Living to make their kids crazy
Push them out of their sight
That just isn't how it should be
Get a job is quite often heard
Every single day is a battle
A never ending litany
The thought to escape has come
Get away from this horrid place
I'm falling down
Things are out of control
I am beyond help
Can't get a stupid job
No one will hire me
I am so damn pathetic
Face hanging on the ground
Can't pick myself up
No more tears left to shed
