Now I wouldn't mind having that elixir because it would be handy if something went missing. All I'd have to do was chug it down and voila I'd find out where the missing item was. At first I was wondering if it had anything to do with Richard's powers but no the bar wench took pity on him I guess when he went in looking for the guy that stole their horses. They never seem to keep their horses very long do they? He was too busy looking at Kahlan who was bathing at the time.
Well carving up fruit with your sword is stinky work but someone has to do it so after you're going to want to clean up. Finally Zedd is eating. Sorry but I'm just used to a Zedd that is always eating. The fruit slicing did come in handy when he came up against the bad wizard. I guess you can tell which ones are bad by their black hair since that tends to be a theme so far. Hey I could be wrong but so far it seems to be the case.
Going after the thief lands them in a town called Drendil. Zedd's wizard pal is there selling magic so he has Zedd kidnapped by some dude using some pretty cool magic. Hey it's like Charmed and their vials they always dropped. Kahlan and Richard get knocked out and the goons put a Radahan (oh crap spell check on aisle ten) on him. Since Zedd didn't like his buddy's view on how to do things he decides to steal his pal's powers. That isn't very nice dude.
Richard decides to go to the bar wench to get another dose of the elixir that would allow him to find Zedd. It comes with a time limit which gets shortened when Rimus the sleazy peddler that Kahlan zapped with her powers got in the way when he thought Richard was trying to hurt her. So after a pep talk Richard ends up find Zedd using his tracking powers since he knows all about things like glittering moss. I had no idea that moss glittered but I'm not in the woods so I shouldn't be expected to know something like that.
Zedd gets his powers back and the bad wizard is collared so he won't be doing any magic ever again unless of course he gets that thing off his neck. I wonder if they'll manage to keep their horses this time since they always seem to lose them. Maybe the horses don't like them. Hey it's a thought. Xena never had a problem with Argo except for that one time but that's because she was jealous of the horse that Xena rode off on not realizing that that horse was toast.
