When will my day come
Emerge from this cocoon
Tear away the layers
Peel away the badness
Emerge a beautiful butterfly
Someone that is a beauty
Glistening in the light
Confident and aware
Traveling forward
With no looking back
Butterfly oh so beautiful
Will I every be that way
Shining with confidence
Not drowning in sorrow
Choking with hate
Emerge someone new
That is full of happiness
