Yes I'm that kooky since I've added another type of porn to the list which I've really been neglecting and that would be water porn. Well this is what happens when you have a bad influence sucking you into the world of porn. Okay the plague was a bit early but I've long accepted that there are going to be changes so I'm not going to go insane over changes because I'm enjoying the show. Something that has had me wondering has been addressed although it could very well be a lie which would be the relationship between Darken Rahl and Richard and of course Jensen too.
Sure it is possible that Darken Rahl was lying about being Richard's brother but that would be more believable since Craig Parker is only thirteen years older than Craig Horner which makes him being his father possible but in a ridiculous sort of way. So Keven Smith would have made an awesome Darken Rahl not that I'm saying anything against Craig but that would be easier to do since he was a bit older and a hot guy is something that I won't turn away. So maybe they are changing the relationship to make it less ridiculous but I knew they couldn't change Richard being a Rahl since even I would have objections about that.
Jensen was hiding with a family but Rahl's men come so the farmer Sean warns her and she takes off. He gives her some kind of stone that is poison if she bites down on it but if it happens to be a type of stone could she really bite down on it? Just me being kooky again but the thought did come to mind. Wow they really know how to run on this show since she ran for hours. Hell I got tired just looking at her running. The only way you'd get me to run would be if you sent some guy with a axe or something after me. Before she gets caught she throws the boxes into the lake which of course is familiar since that's also the entrance to the Underworld. Hmm maybe an idea is forming in my head that might come to light later on but on to what I was babbling about.
The guy knocks her down so she wasn't able to bite down on the stone. Hey it sounds like a good idea because death would be better than getting captured by Rahl but she's not like other girls since the agiel wouldn't work but she could be tortured but Rahl decided not to do that. I do wonder about those berries though because they reminded me of the berries from that episode of Xena where the bunny grew fangs and attacked Xena. Maybe they had something to do with her memory loss or maybe like the I'm thinking she was a healer said it had to do with getting smacked really hard by that guy.
Jensen wakes up not knowing where she is and Rahl is quite clever since he pretends to be a nice guy although I think in his mind he isn't the monster that others see never mind he's the one that released the magical plague killing people in that village. He talks to her and he's no dummy since he sprinkled in enough truth and twisted it so she had no reason not to think he was telling her the truth and that line when he mentioned villains thinking they're heroes was so dead on because I'm sure Darken views himself that way and yes his father Panis was a monster but Darken's following in Dad's shoes. He did mention killing him so that wasn't changed.
He ends up giving Jensen a kitty and I think it affected him when she kissed him on the cheek to thank him since it was so unexpected for him because I'm sure he wasn't shown any affection when he grew up. Of course he lied big time going on about reaching out to Richard. The only reaching out was having all the male babies murdered in Brennidon. He finally came out and told her that he was her brother along with Richard and made Richard out to be the monster. She just saw a kind man who helped her and since she did remember bits and pieces it did look like Richard was a monster commanding the men to kill each other and sending Kahlan after Denna who certainly isn't helpless.
To make Jensen totally believe in him he offers to give her the cure to the plague that was released in the village. Lucky Jensen isn't affected since it's a magical plague. He tells her to pretend to be back with Richard and to tell him what he wants to hear so she can get her chance to get the boxes and return them to Darken. The dude is excellent at manipulating her. She agrees and goes back to the village which is a really good thing since things aren't good there. I just wanted to smack that one guy.
At the village Zedd is trying to help the afflicted by healing but since there's only one of him he has to rest but there's this one guy who just doesn't seem to grasp that concept. When Zedd wants to heal the baker this dude isn't happy at all because he wants his son healed who by the way is still standing so there's time for him to be healed. Of course it makes sense to heal the baker because the guy could make food to help those who are sick hold on longer while Zedd works on curing them. This just doesn't seem to penetrate his thick skull.
Richard's head is on the line literally because Rahl wants his head which he's willing to exchange for the cure. Yeah right like he's going to heal them just because someone brings him Richard's head. He didn't even protect his men so I have to wonder about Sean's motives when he held the sword on that one guy that Kahlan was going to confess. Richard stopped her from touching him because this plague strikes by touch. But the guy didn't say anything so I'm thinking he was willing for the both of them to die if it would save his daughter.
Since the guy has the plague they bring him to Zedd to heal him and once again the angry dude is booted aside because Kahlan wants to confess him to see if they can find out about what happened to Kahlan. He gets healed and she does her thing. Richard takes him and the guy shows him where Jensen was captured. When he sees the lake he knows Jensen threw the boxes into the lake so he dives in hence the water porn since he does take off his shirt. Well I can't help it if I enjoy the view. The soldiers come and Richard gets shot and the confessed guy ends up dead. Richard is able to kill the men so now they have the boxes which is good since they've figured a way to use them.
Richard was reading the Book Of Counted Shadows and with Zedd's help they figured out that he'd have to be confessed when he put the boxes back together in order to defeat Darken Rahl. Before that could happen he gets back to the village where he finds both Kahlan and Zedd victims of the plague. The villagers got greedy and kept touching Zedd when he told them he had to rest. They didn't seem to grasp the concept that he could only do so much otherwise he'd die and guess what I'm thinking everyone would end up dying if they killed the one person that could heal them. The annoying one got confessed which is how Kahlan got the plague.
Richard had a plan because he couldn't be confessed to bite down on the stone before putting the boxes down so he could get the cure and kill Darken Rahl even if he had to die too. Of course Zedd didn't like that and neither did I for that matter but before he had a chance to do that Jensen showed up with the cure. She gave Richard the story that Darken told her and even pointed out the tracer cloud. This should have made Richard suspicious becuase how would she know about a tracer cloud? He went to heal Zedd and Kahlan first so Jensen grabbed the boxes and ran.
Now Richard couldn't understand why his sister took off so he ran after her. She called out for help but Richard covered her mouth and talked to her. After talking to her for a while about how they first met and what really happened after he put the boxes together instead of the condensed version Darken Rahl gave her she finally remembered what happened. They hugged and Darken Rahl's men attacked. Well it's a good thing he was able to kill them all since Jensen isn't a fighter at least not in a weapon kind of way. Maybe she should learn so she doesn't have to cower behind a tree.
She didn't tell Richard about what Darken Rahl said about him being their brother. Now I'm tending to think that he was speaking the truth about that. It would make more sense for them to be brothers instead of father and son but of course he could be lying. For all I know he could turn out to be his father but this is one instance where there really wasn't a reason for him to lie. I would think if he was their father he would appeal to Jensen as a father instead of a big brother so I'm inclined to think that this is going to be the relationship in the show. When I saw him with the cat I was thinking oh crap he's going to throw the kitty in the fire when he finds out that Jensen was back on her brother's side. He could have let the cat go or maybe he did toss the kitty when he got the news.
