Moonlight Dwelling

I've finally gotten what I've wanted for so long. I'm human complete with a heartbeat. I need a bed but the couch will do.

"Could I really be mortal again? Will I wake up and discover this was just a dream?"

Aching bones and wounds yet to heal sore all over and tender to the touch. Feeling like a walking bruise but it's amazing.

"Maybe one day this can be permanent."
