Liars all of you
Saying it's all right
Not to worry
Your already filled head
All with turn out fine
Keep positive thoughts

See how good things
Can turn out after all
With the right frame of mind
Flowers blooming in the sunlight
Greets with a smile
Birds singing in the wind
Happy kids at play
Sounds of laughter flow
Through my head
Am trapped in a twisted state
Not sure of anything
Feeling so alone
Frustrated with life
Confused
What to do next
Dig me out of this pit
Lost in the darkness
Swallowing me whole
Liars one and all
You failed me
Lulled me into believing
Gave me a false security
With every breath I gasped
Tried so very hard
To make things right
Never did happen
Just fell deeper and deeper
You cast that spell upon me
Foolish to think it was true
Nothing is going to change
This miserable fate
To be faced all alone
Determine what to do next
Which will be my fate
