Don't look at me I'm not the one that farted.
Well the second episode was on and this one was written by a familiar name to me and that name would be David Greenwalt. Too bad he left but I really enjoyed this episode. Oh I have an entry titled Vampire Factoids where I'm putting all the things about the vampires in this world so look for it since I will add to it as I find out more about the vampires in this world. So Mick was wearing a flowing black coat and jumping on rooftops but that's what vampires do. The same thing goes on in Blade so you can't really trash a show because something reminds you of some other show or whatever because you could sit and pick apart shows. I did a list comparing Hex and Buffy and I love both shows but you could see things that were in the other like both had a lesbian best friend. Does that mean that I can't enjoy Hex because of that and other things? No of course not because I love the show.
Beth now knows the truth about Mick and hell he just came right out and said it because he didn't really have a choice. There are no lumpies on the vampires in this world. I'm still getting used to Joe the vampire. Yes I know the name is really Josef but I just don't like the spelling of that name but it is a old timey type of spelling after all he seems to be the oldest vampire at least so far but this is only the second episode. It's just a good thing he isn't sporting a bat nose but I think that comes with six hundred years since Darla wasn't looking very bat like. It can be an adjustment to get used to a familiar face playing a different character since Jason went from playing Logan to Joe two very different guys although they are both rich.
I think it's great that Kevin Weisman is on another show although I don't know how big his role will be. He was a lot smarter on Alias as Marshall but once again he's that cute geek guy. There are flashbacks on this show and yes some fans of Buffy and Angel might bitch about that because they turned up on both shows but when you're dealing with vampires you have to have flashbacks because there is so much you can draw on. It turns out that Mick didn't take very good pictures before he was a vampire. I wonder if they'll show him getting turned by his wife. Now that's one hell of a wedding night.
It seems that Mick has been a PI for years and years since an old case came back to haunt him after a guy that was in jail for twenty-five years got released even though he was guilty as sin. This is one of those guys that Mick really should have killed and gotten over with. It showed a little bit of his past and it looks like back then he was a bit more like Josef but he was doing the PI thing. So far it hasn't been revealed about whether he was a killer that just loved the killing since he seems to be more into helping people but that girl he was drinking could have been dead but you never find out because she just falls back. So who knows if this vamp has a dark past that he's trying to overcome by helping the helpless humans.
Another familiar face is Lisa Sheridan who was last seen on Invasion. That girl just never seems to have luck with shows because I've watched her on I think it was called Legacy which was set in the past like the 18th century or maybe the 17th but that didn't last long and there was a show she did with Ethan Embry and the name is escaping me and lastly Invasion which didn't last either. She was one of those that fell for the guy in prison and nearly became the next victim. I just don't get those chicks that fall for guys in prison and end up marrying them. Murder just doesn't turn me on?
The fingers are crossed that this show will have a nice and long life because it is a good match to Ghost Whisperer which is on right before it although Numbers doesn't really fit. This show is taking the spot that was formerly Close To Home but I guess that show's gone. You can be a fan of Buffy and Angel and enjoy this show because I'm proof of that because I love Joss. Hell I wish the guy would adopt me. I was always writing but I would say that I was inspired by him and his worlds that I ended up falling in love with and whether that's a good thing or a bad thing is up to the one reading what I write. This is kind of scary but I even kind of like the theme song and I was horrified to find out who sings in none other than Celine Dion. Yikes that was frightening to find that out. At least I don't have to see her singing it so I can block out the knowledge of who is singing the song.
