Another episode directed by Michael which means no slo mo fighting. I'm not really a fan of that although I'm enjoying the show since I'm able to separate the series of books from the show. I just enjoy the both of them so I wasn't flipping out and yelling at the screen where there were some changes. There is one thing that kind of puzzles me. Kahlan aside from the Mother Confessor was the only one that wore a white dress. Was she stronger than the others? I don't get why she wasn't in a black dress like the others while she was still just a Confessor? Did anyone else wonder that?

Richard, Kahlan, and Zedd run into the Mother Confessor. It turns out that there are six of them left and then some guy shows up who was confessed by Dennee who isn't dead after all. They use Mira that glowing thing to help them find her which is why Kahlan dressed up like a Mord Sith and had Richard as her prisoner. Is it just me or does she look hot in that outfit? She finds her sister pregant since she decided to mate with the due she confessed. Well it makes sense although it is a bit odd since he did try to kill her but he's loyal now.

They leave and she ends up going into labor and whoops it's a boy so it was like the time Piper had Wyatt when she was expecting a little girl. Richard didn't understand why they wanted to kill him so he wanted no part of that but hello it looks like Kahlan betrayed him again since she lied to him when he went to fool Rahl's men into following a false trail. That didn't make him happy so he went after Finn to save the baby. Dennee wasn't too thrilled about drowning her child. If the ways were so wonderful why are there only six of you folks left? The Mother Confessor wasn't big on listening to other people so she was a total bitch if you ask me.

Kahlan goes after Richard since she has that special power of running faster than a horse. Maybe it's magic. Who knows since I don't. She catches up with him and he talks sense into her. Just because you've been doing something for ages doesn't mean that it's right especially when your numbers are dwindling. Zedd and the Mother Confessor catch up and she confesses Zedd. What the hell? I would think a First Wizard would be protected or something. Her way of doing it was different since when Kahlan does it the eyes go all black like a demon but when this chick did it it was like an x-ray since you could see his skull flash as it happened.

Things don't look very good and Zedd ends up blasting Richard with Wizard's Fire but he had the sword to block it until of course Zedd took the sword away. The Mother Confessor used Kahlan's feelings for Richard to get the baby. Of course you can't blame her for that since she's in love with him although at this point anyway she'll never be able to be with him which is really sad. That must be really lonely to be a Confessor and having to whammy someone to basically become your slave so it's best not to have emotions involved.

The other confessors show up and they want to save the baby after all just because one boy went evil doesn't mean they all will. So they go after some D'Harans to get some reinforcements and send them as a distraction while they go after Mother Bitch er I mean Confessor. Come on she was a total bitch. She was trying to make Kahlan feel all guilty when she should have been the one doing that since she confessed Zedd which is a big no no. She was able to slit the throat of the baby when Finn came and killed her so now he and Dennee went off the Valaria an island hidden by magic to raise their son and the other confessors are staying put.

I guess they all had a chat and decided to make Kahlan the Mother Confessor. Why not since she already has the dress. With the death of the bitch Zedd is back to his usual self. What I happen to like Zedd. Sure he doesn't say bags but I enjoy him anyway. You do have to wonder about the baby but hey that's just a risk in general since some people do end up all evil but there's no way of knowing since there doesn't seem to be a test to determine whether or not a baby will grow up to become a bloodthirsty killer.
