Screaming in the night
Woke up sweat drenched
Sheets all tangled up
Yet another nightmare
Strikes in the dead of night
Demons in the darkness
Hiding from bright lights
Waiting to make their move
Haunting dreams await
When night approaches
The fear of falling asleep
Gnaws on the mind
Like a dog with a bone
Daybreak approaches
Until another night arrives
