Moonlight Dwelling

Richard had a secret that he didn't want to get out. It was bad enough dealing with Michael when they were kids. He always took great pleasure in teasing Richard about it and threatening to tell the other kids. He had just come to shore after taking a bath when he saw a giant spider by his foot. He jumped back and let out a yell.

"Richard are you okay?"

Kahlan came running wondering if Richard was in some kind of danger.

"Um I'm fine."

Richard didn't want to tell her why he yelled. He kept an eye out for the bug.

"I just stubbed my toe."

Kahlan looked away from Richard who wasn't dressed.

"Sorry I'll let you get dressed."

Kahlan walked away feeling her face heat as she thought about Richard naked and his wet chest glistening.
