Sheltered

I have been sheltered
Hidden away from light
Locked away from others
In my own world
Pain filled hours spent
Countless tears shed
Unable to emerge
Always held back
Always told no
Will never by anyone
Just a constant annoyance
A source of complaints
Someone to blame
Sheltered and all alone
Not sure what's left
Where do I go from here
Break from this isolation
Remove this from me
These shackles bind me
