Survival

After Henry fell onto the rocks with the boating knife sticking out of him Abby turned back to Jimmy. It was all so horrible like a nightmare that she'd wake up from but the blood on her hands was all too real. With tears running down her face she looked down at Jimmy hoping he'd survive.

"Jimmy you can't leave me after all this."

Jimmy opened his eyes and winced in pain.

"Oh thank god."

Abby looked behind her to make sure Henry wasn't creeping up behind her. She looked back at Jimmy and reached out for his hand.

"Do you think you could walk?"

Jimmy struggled to sit up. With Abby's help he was able to stand up. Leaning on Abby the two walked back to the house. They were unaware of of the person watching from above. After they were gone Vincent walked down to the rocks. Squatting next to the body Vincent looked at Henry.

"I must say I'm pretty impressed with you."

Vincent had escaped from the psych ward in Harmony and made his way to Harper's Island where things had been pretty quiet until the wedding party arrived and the killing began. Reaching out Vincent put his fingers to Henry's neck where he discovered a faint pulse.

"I'll be your Abby."

Vincent picked up Henry as if Henry were his bride and carried him over to the golf cart that he had hidden. He put Henry in the seat and jumped in the driver's side. He drove off to the clinic where he'd find medical supplies.

"Maybe there's a phone inside."

Abby helped Jimmy into the house and had him sit down while she searched the place for a phone. She kept checking to make sure Jimmy was still with her. She told herself to remain calm even though she felt like screaming. Abby knew Henry was dead because she stabbed him with the boating knife but that didn't stop her from worrying that Henry would come back to finish what he'd started.

"Thank god."

Abby found a cell phone in a drawer and it worked. She called for help and was told that there were boats on the other side of the island and that one would be sent over immediately.

"We getting off this rock?"

"Yes."

Abby and Jimmy held each other for a moment before getting up to make their way back down to the rocky shore. They couldn't help but notice that Henry wasn't lying where he'd been when they walked away which sent a chill through Abby. Soon they heard the boat but Abby was worried that Henry somehow survived. She told the two men what happened and was told that the body was most likely carried out to sea. Wrapped up in blankets and on the boat speeding away Abby was finally able to relax and sigh in relief that the nightmare was finally over. Not caring about the two men in the front of the boat Abby started kissing Jimmy.
