Moonlight Dwelling

Judy sat on her bed wrapped up in a blanket not making a sound while Christina knocked on her bedroom door wanting to talk to her. It seemed like forever before Christina gave up and walked away. Judy was tempted to peek outside but didn't just in case Christina was still out there waiting for her.

The past day made her think about things which scared her. It was bad enough when Mark dropped her which was totally on purpose. It sucked that she wasn't able to win the prize since it would have been two months salary at the gas station but she couldn't help but think about what happened.

First Paula had that freak incident in the shower that was explained away by rusty pipes not to mention the people that got paired up. It was like that guy knew stuff that he shouldn't and that he was playing with all of their heads or soemthing. It's possible that they were the pipes she thought but it wasn't until Paula took a shower that the rust came pouring out turning her hair orange.

"If I thought she had feelings I'd almost feel sorry for her," Judy whispered.

She wasn't sure how it was possible but Judy knew Christina was looking up right before the disco ball came crashing down which could have killed Paula if Judy hadn't pushed her out of the way. Christina claimed she froze which Judy would love to believe because the alternative was pretty scary.

It was strange how this girl just showed up out of the blue and became like family so quickly. Judy decided to wait until Christina was out to search her room in the hopes of her fears being silly. It just wasn't herself that she was worried about since her Mom especially was really fond of Christina. She hoped it turned out to be nothing because it was great to see her Mom come alive again.

"One way or the other I need to find out what's going on. Maybe I'm just being paranoid wanting a mystery where there isn't one."

Lying down Judy decided to try to get some sleep.
