Ned decided to be a normal guy that bakes pies so he resisted temptation when Emerson came with a potential case. Chuck decided to be his sidekick as the Alive Again Avenger. After seeing the victim who had landed in a fountain which isn't good when it's winter out not that it would be any better during the summer since she'd be just as dead and seeing the exact same window display they knew they had a murder on their hands. Of course the primary suspect was the chick who wasn't getting the credit but oops she ended up dead too. As you can tell by the titles dummies are involved but not in a freaky sort of way.
Poor Olive getting totally ignored by her crappy parents. Whoops she got kidnapped or maybe not since she just ran away and happened to get into the back of this car of two petty thieves. Since she refused to tell them her name they ended up keeping her for a couple of days and hello her parents didn't even notice. Of course when they mentioned that to her parents they called the cops and they went to jail for twenty-five years when I think the parents should have for neglect. I guess crappy parents don't like getting told they're crappy and if they have the power to toss you in jail they'll do it and poor Olive couldn't stop it since they didn't believe her. Oh that's nice and they didn't even notice she was gone. She kept writing to them over the years until they finally escaped.
Since Olive was confused by what Ned said, "I wouldn't say never" she read a book about sentences and drove him nuts when he was having her tasting new pies. Oh can I sign up for that job? On second thought maybe not since I'm pretty pick since pumpkin is my pie of choice and okay maybe chocolate. I must speak like Ned because I get what he meant. He just meant that things could have been different if Chuck never came back into the picture which reminded me of Kay and Miguel when he said nearly the same thing. She was over thinking things too much if you ask me. They might have had a chance at being a couple but only if Chuck wasn't around which is what I took him to mean unless I'm being dumb again which is very possible. Oops she sort of mentioned to her surrogate Dads that she was engaged to the piemaker. How sweet of Ned to play along.
Randy is back and aw he likes Olive. There are other guys out there and here's a sweet one. Come on who wouldn't love a guy that grabs a butter knife when the guys that kidnapped the girl when she was little since it was technically kidnapping even though she was agreeable to it came in. Sure that just earned him a black eye since he has no body fat and bruises easily. Now where do I sign up for that? Not the bruising part silly the other part about the no fat. He came with the pigeons for Ned's brothers. I do find it odd he had a rhino in his car but it did come in handy and in his line of work I guess it isn't so odd. They go over to Vivian and Lily's place. Poor Vivian getting hope from Olive and Ned being a couple so of course Olive didn't have the heart to tell her it was a lie but of course her sister was suspicious.
Ned decided to stop being Clark and went back to waking the dead and baking pies. It was cute when he was able to eat his pie. Well he can make pies with fresh fruit so he can still eat it. He brought the rhino back which made a good distraction since the cops showed up as Lily and Vivian's which allowed them to escape. I'm sure Emerson is thrilled to have Ned and his magic finger back although that does lead to some naughty thoughts. Poor Olive but hey maybe she has a chance with Randy.
